Orders, Shipping & Timing
Where do orders ship from, and how long does delivery take?
We fulfill from a mixed network — your order may ship from our U.S. warehouse and/or an overseas hub, depending on stock location. If you order more than one item, split shipments are possible. The most accurate delivery estimate for your address is shown at checkout — use that as your guide. Typical timelines (carriers and holidays vary): processing about 1–3 business days; U.S. transit after dispatch often 3–7 business days; international after dispatch often 10–18 business days.
How much is shipping?
Shipping cost and options depend on your address, cart, and current rates — you’ll see the exact total (including any tax) before you pay at checkout. For anything that varies by SKU (e.g. oversized), the product page (PDP) and checkout stay the source of truth.
Will my order arrive in more than one package?
Sometimes. If items ship from different fulfillment locations, you may receive more than one package. Each shipment gets its own tracking email when it leaves the warehouse.
I’m buying a gift — how early should I order?
For birthdays and holidays, we recommend ordering at least 15 business days before you need the box in hand. If your date is tight, email service@volaea.com before you order — we’ll help you interpret timing honestly.
How should I estimate my delivery date?
Use Processing time + Transit time. Processing is usually 1–3 business days (pick, pack, QC). Transit depends on your address and carrier — your checkout estimate is the most accurate. Holidays, weather, and (for international orders) customs can add time.
How can I track my order?
When your order ships, we email tracking once the carrier scans the package. Use the Track link in the footer, enter your tracking number, then view carrier updates. Tracking may take 24–48 hours to begin updating. If nothing moves for several business days, email service@volaea.com with your order number.
Checkout, Tax & Security
What payment methods can I use?
We accept the major payment methods shown at checkout (for example credit/debit cards, Shop Pay, PayPal, and other options your region displays). You are only charged when your order is confirmed at the total shown on the payment step.
For U.S. delivery, will I owe extra duties or taxes after I pay?
For orders shipped to the United States, we ship DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) where applicable — standard import duties and related clearance fees on a normal delivery are included in what we cover, so you should not get a surprise duty invoice from the carrier for a typical shipment. Sales tax (where required) is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.
Is my payment information secure?
Checkout runs on encrypted, PCI-compliant payment processing — we don’t ask you to email card numbers, and our team will never ask for your full card details over chat or email.
Can I use a discount code or gift card?
When a promotion or gift card is active, you’ll enter it at checkout if the field is available. Product-specific notes (bundles, messages, inclusions) are always exactly as shown on each PDP.
What emails will I receive after I order?
You’ll usually get emails when your order is confirmed, when your order ships (with tracking when available), and if your order is refunded. If you don’t see them, check spam/promotions, confirm your checkout email, then contact service@volaea.com.
Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?
You may request a return within 30 days of delivery for change-of-mind refunds only if the set is fully unopened: outer packaging intact and all inner part bags still sealed. Once any inner bag is opened or the build is started, we cannot accept a discretionary return — the set is considered used. Wrong item or defective goods: email us first — we’ll make it right. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is usually buyer-paid unless we made an error.
How do I start a return?
Email service@volaea.com with your order number and reason. We’ll send return instructions and the correct return address. Do not ship until we confirm — random addresses can delay or void your refund.
When will I receive my refund?
After we receive and inspect your return, refunds usually post within 5–10 business days to your original payment method; your bank may take extra time to display it.
My package arrived damaged or incorrect — what should I do?
Contact us within 7 days of delivery at service@volaea.com with your order number and photos of the outer box, damage, and contents. We’ll replace or refund eligible cases under our quality promise.
Build help & missing parts
What if I’m missing a piece during the build?
We replace missing or defective pieces free of charge under our Uninterrupted Build Guarantee. Before requesting parts: (1) check all bags and packing material; (2) keep building if you can — the part may appear in a later step; (3) check for spare elements. If still missing: circle the part in your printed manual, note quantity, take a clear photo, then email service@volaea.com (or use our Missing Parts form) with your order number, set name/number, and shipping address. We typically confirm within 1–2 business days; replacements usually ship within 3–7 business days after approval (longer in peak season).
I’m stuck on a step — can someone help?
Yes. Email service@volaea.com with your order number, set name, and a photo of the instruction step where you’re stuck. We’ll help you troubleshoot so you can finish the build.
